CANCELLATION POLICY

  • ~ALL SHOOTS ARE TO BE PAID IN FULL AT TIME OF BOOKING.

    ~NO REFUNDS, ONLY STUDIO CREDIT FOR CANCELLED BOOKINGS (SEE RULES BELOW FOR CANCELLATIONS).

    ~CANCELLATIONS/RESCHEDULING LESS THAN 7 DAYS PRIOR TO CHECK IN INCUR A RESCHEDULING FEE OF 25% OF BOOKING TOTAL VALUE.

    ~CANCELLATIONS/RESCHEDULING 24- 48 HOURS PRIOR TO CHECK IN INCUR A RESCHEDULING FEE OF 50% OF YOUR BOOKING TOTAL VALUE.

    ~CANCELLATIONS/RESCHEDULING LESS THAN 24 HOURS OF YOUR CHECK IN - NO REFUND OR RESCHEDULE WILL BE OFFERED.

    ~YOUR STUDIO CREDIT MUST BE USED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF YOUR ORIGINAL BOOKING DATE .

    ~IF Toteme House CANCELS THE BOOKING (WHICH CAN HAPPEN AT ANY TIME PRIOR TO YOUR BOOKING AT OUR DISCRETION) WE WILL OFFER 100% REFUND TO THE GUEST.

STUDIO RULES

  • *Pet’s allowed if permission is granted

    *No glitter

    *No smoking or open flames

    *No alcohol

    *No smoking, vaping, open flames

    *No outdoor footwear is to be worn past the entrance for hygiene of the studio and to protect the rug. Treat it like your home please.

    *No dragging furniture. Pushing/dragging furniture across the floor ruins the floor AND the furniture. Grab a friend and lift the furniture if you want to move it, or else don't move it please. Don't ever store things outside unit.

    *We are not responsible for any property left behind that doesn’t belonging to the studio. If you forget an item we will do our best to locate it and leave it available for you for pickup, but will not be held responsible to find/keep/hold lost items or property that doesn’t belong to us.

    *We are not responsible for any damage caused to your personal property within the studio (unknown spills, objects found, accidents caused on set by individuals to other individuals or objects).

    *Our studio is only responsible for activities and events that occur within the walls of our rented space. We are not liable for any accidents, incidents, or damages that occur outside of the studio, including but not limited to: building common areas, elevators, hallways, stairwells, loading areas, interactions with building staff, or any malfunctioning equipment not owned by the studio. Such incidents cannot be used as grounds to dispute rental terms, request discounts, or otherwise alter your agreement with the studio.

  • *No photography or storing things outside the studio. The rental of space is for this studio only.

    *All loading of equipment must be done via the 2019 Rue Moreau door (not 3115 Rue Ontario, not 2019 Rue Moreau A).

    *The passenger elevator is for very light luggage only, all equipment must be loaded in the freight elevator on North side of building via 2019 Rue Moreau.

OVERTIME & CLEANING FEES

  • Your booking begins the time you book for, no earlier, and ends the time it's booked, no later. If you require extra time to move things, load/unload, then please book appropriately. If you request to go overtime last minute we can quote you for the additional hour rate as if you booked online if it’s available. If you have not asked to extend your booking and stay overtime without asking, the additional time will be charged at a rate of half the hourly rate you booked at+tax for every half hour (rounded up). So if your booking ended at 2 and you left between 2:15 -2:30 you will be charged (the 1hr rate/2) +tax. If you have not told us you will be staying overtime and have inconvenienced another client or cleaner schedule the overtime fee will be double the standard fee.

  • Cleaning and Reorganizing fees are non negotiable.

    Return all furniture and props exactly back to where you found them before leaving. If the cleaner has to put props or furniture away the additional charge is $50-$100 depending on the extent of organizing required.

    Cleaning and maintenance fee is for regular cleaning and maintenance, NOT for cleaning up messes. Please respect the space and put garbage in the garbage can, and put furniture back where you found it before you leave and wash any dishes you've used. Strict no glitter policy. If you leave a mess, or if props or furniture are left NOT where you found them/disheveled- you will be charged an automatic additional fee of $100 for cleaning and or reorganization.

    Stain removal fees start at $25 and are upward of $2000 depending on extent of stain and the item stained/cost of cleaning.

Surveillance & Damage

  • If you break, stain, rip, or any form of damage to property is encountered during your stay, your card on file will be charged for repair or full replacement of the damage as inspected by the owner. You may also be charged any other fees associated with the inconvenience such as loss of income due to damages or loss of items. The minimum damage fee is $100.

  • The whole studio is monitored by video camera as a security measure and will be used to confirm any damage/theft/leaving studio late. If you unplug the security camera for any reason, you will also be subject to a charge of $50. The security camera is there for liability purposes it is seriously not ok to unplug it, if you require privacy there is a washroom down the hall. Please also note we respect your privacy and the footage is only accessible by the female owner Ashley.

Legal

  • Upon booking you are asked to review and agree to have read all policies, rules, terms and conditions. Your purchase is legally binding to our policies. Please make sure you do your due diligence on reading your responsibilities and obligations as well as knowing what terms and conditions you agree to by making a purchase on our site.
